When I first started this blog I had an idea to only feature five top online money making marketers. I had a list of over twenty who were doing very well making money online, but recently I have discovered a few more.

Since I joined Twitter a new crop of online money makers have emerged into my stratosphere, and has given me cause to add to my list whom I think are worth mentioning.

They deserve a mention because one: they are making money hand over fist and want to share their secrets with you; and two: because they are doing something good for the community of man by even wanting to share their tips.

As I prepare my posts featuring these money makers, please feel free to read about the five gurus listed here. Due to the title of this blog, which I will not change, I have made another blog that features the other giants in this field.

I’ve been a consultant for many years. First as an accounting and financial management consultant, showing people ways to make more money and avoid increased taxation. Some folks would ask, “How much money do you have to make to file taxes?” that was a common one. Then as a computer software consultant, showing people how to track the money they just made. I was always looking to earn extra money, and in the 1980’s when I got my first PC I taught myself how to write BASIC programs to calculate probabilities of numbers to play in the lottery. I am really dating myself here.

After that, I was a business development and management consultant, showing people how they could make money in a particular market outside of their niche, and how to use it to make extra money for their main business. My final consultancy was as an interior design consultant. (I know, what does interior design have to do with business? It was something to do to assist my husband at the time in his construction business.)

Anyway, what I’ve learned is that people want to learn how to make money. Mo money, mo money, mo money…., but they don’t necessarily want to spend money to learn the techniques. Even if it’s for the advice that they really need to earn more money.

So I have decided to write about his very thing, ‘ How to make money and not have to spend much while you’re making the money’, or least not while you’re trying to make it.

There are plenty of websites out there with a wealth of information on how to start an online money making business, and I am going to tell you where the sites are and what you can get from them.

Here we go!  So far, Court’s Internet Marketing School,  (see BLOGROLL list on right sidebar),  has been the best for me since I am a novice at this. Their Keyword Crash Course is da’ bomb. If you take the time to read and apply what Court tells you, believe me, you can get your website up and running in no time and start making money online.

I printed out his FREE eBook, The Keyword Crash Course, and took it to my kitchen table to begin reading it. Little did I know that he wants you to not only read the book but to also do the assignments in it. Since I wanted to learn how to make money online, I scurried to my home office and got on the internet to follow along step by step with his instructions.

At first I thought it would be difficult for an old timer like me, but to my surprise his written instructions and the video demonstrations were just what I needed to keep up with him.

He talks about keyword ranking, who knows what that is? I didn’t. In common everyday language he explains what is keyword ranking and how it will bring traffic to your site and how that is how you make money online.

Who would have thought! I have been trying to get into this racket for so long, and didn’t know anybody who was successful in making money online, that I jumped for joy because I felt that it was possible for someone like me to become an internet marketer and begin to start earning extra money. Money is money, extra or not, so this was what I needed.

Since I only paid for the FREE course, I didn’t get all of the videos in the course but what I got was plenty. My techno savvy skills helped me along, and anyone who has some computer skills and has a lot of patience this course is for you.

• How to buy hosting on HostGator; I bought this one, but don’t try to adjust the files in the file manager unless you know exactly what you are doing. Their file manager is not like Windows file manager.
• Pointing your domain at your hosting account

• How to install a new WordPress  Theme
• How to install the All-In-One-SEO Pack plug-in for WordPress; this one was tricky because  I couldn’t find where it was filed in the drop down windows.

I certainly hope that this information is helpful to those of you who want to start making money on the internet. For all of you stay at home moms, retired or laid off workers looking to work at home, this is the BEST first step for making money on the internet.
